Jane is 37 and lives in Kirkby. Jane has been smoking since the age of 16 and was pregnant with her second child. Jane was referred by Ormskirk Hospital.

“I wanted to make a conscious effort to stop smoking during this pregnancy. With the help and support from my stop smoking advisor Deborah I’m pleased to say that I have managed to quit smoking completely. I have noticed a real difference since stopping and I’m really glad that I did it.”
"I started smoking at the age of 16 when I was in school. I’ve always enjoyed smoking. I’ve never really thought about quitting. When I was pregnant with my first child, I did try to quit by myself but I was on and off them throughout my pregnancy as I found it really difficult to stop completely.
"I plan to stay stopped once my baby is born. I will continue to receive the brilliant support from the Knowsley Stop Smoking Service throughout my pregnancy."
